
Hyundai isn’t holding back for the 2024 model year. They’re bringing many updates to the table, with some complete redesigns thrown in there as well. As the sixth-largest automobile manufacturer in the United States, Hyundai manages to get by with its lineup of vehicles, forgoing any truck options.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been a popular model in previous years, and it will also be part of the 2024 lineup. It even won The Car Connection’s Best Electric Car to Buy award for the 2023 model year.
The 2024 model year will include the Ioniq 6, with plenty of efficiency and an affordable price point. The N performance line will include the Ioniq 6. Hyundai has hinted at a three-row 2025 Ioniq 7 model, so stay tuned for that.
The Kona came out in 2017 and will be a promising design for the 2024 model year. It has an electric version available with a variety of combustion engine options. The standard performance inclusion will be a 2.0-liter inline-4 that can achieve 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard in 2024 with a continuously variable transmission.
All-wheel drive is an available option. The 2024 Kona EV comes with a 64.8-kwh battery pack, providing a range of 260 miles maximum. Each Kona model will come with a 12.3-inch display screen standard.
The 2024 Elantra offers exceptional affordability. It has a revised front end, especially noticeable on the N performance trim level. Featured are thin, low-profile headlights and a larger air intake. The front grille is quite a bit smaller. The brand will carry over its 2.0-liter turbo-four engine, which achieves 276 horsepower. There is a hybrid available for 2024.
The Tucson isn’t seeing many changes this year, but Hyundai has a redesign planned for the 2025 model year.
