New Hyundai Santa Fe SUV For Sale in Peru, IL

Take Your 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe on Your Next Adventure

One of Hyundai's many SUVs is the Santa Fe. This is a solid two-row SUV that will provide you with plenty of space, advanced technology, and a lot of convenient features.

Trim Levels

There are several trims for you to consider. The lineup starts with the SE. It has driver-assist technologies and a touchscreen with smartphone integration like the other trims. The SEL is the next available trim. It has a bit more of an elevated style, and it has heated front seats and wireless charging. In the middle of the lineup, you'll find the XRT. This trim has a bold appearance thanks to special exterior accents. With the Limited, there are more refined elements and more advanced driver-assist technologies. Finally, the Calligraphy has the most to offer with its ambient lighting, quilted Nappa leather seats, and 20-inch wheels.

Performance

Two engines are available. They're both the same size, having displacements of 2.5 liters. However, a distinction is that only one has a turbocharger. The turbocharger makes the engine quite powerful. The turbo engine can make 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, and it gives the Santa Fe the ability to tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.

While it can't hit those same marks, the non-turbo engine is also pretty powerful. It delivers 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. With the standard 2.5-liter engine, towing capacity is 2,000 pounds.

Hyundai has matched the non-turbo engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The turbo version is paired with an eight-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Both types of transmissions have SHIFTRONIC so that you can have some more control over performance. Choose from front-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the conditions you anticipate facing. Each Santa Fe comes with Drive Mode Select so that you can decide how you'd like your SUV to perform. Perhaps you'd like to conserve gas and take things easy, or maybe you'd like to push the limits and drive a little more aggressively.

We'd also like to note that the Santa Fe is available as a hybrid and plug-in hybrid. The hybrid can get up to 36 miles per gallon in the city, and it has a combined horsepower of 226. The plug-in hybrid has a battery that can be charged at any outlet, and when it has a full charge, you can drive for up to 30 miles on electric power alone.

Interior Features

This SUV has more second-row legroom than you'll find in many other SUVs. Those sitting in the rear seat can stretch out, as there are nearly 42 inches of legroom back there. The rear cargo area is spacious, too. If you lower the rear seats to carry larger items, you'd have over 72 cubic feet of space.

Depending on your trim, you could have cloth, leather, or quilted Nappa leather seats. The front seats can be power-adjustable, and they can be heated and ventilated. A heated steering wheel, proximity key entry, LED interior lighting, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are other available components.

As we mentioned, the base trim has a great infotainment system. The Santa Fe starts with an eight-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth. As you move up in trim, you start to see more advanced elements, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen, navigation, wireless charging, and a premium sound system.

Hyundai has given the Santa Fe an assortment of driver-assist technologies to keep you safe. They include blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, and smart cruise control.
